[SRT is a line that popped out at me while walking from a Marilyn Manson song, and summarizes one of the main gripes of my 20s. beyond that it *is* pretty random (the R in SRT) and has more to do with trying to decipher what is this like/like/dislike thing with the band itself]

secret chiefs and iodine

the semi-Gerson diet is going well. I think these first few days we’ve been withdrawing from salt –aesthetically, and more into physically..as things progress. It sounds insane, but in the Gerson book they talk about people passing 5gm of salt a day in the first several days on the Gerson plan. Anyway, so iodine supplementation is part of this thing. I couldn’t get the Lugol’s solution, but Whole Foods had this Liqui-Kelp stuff. So I took one dose according to the bottle, once daily the first couple days. The next day I took it twice. Not that noticeable effects are necessary, but after reading the book and many online comments on the benefits of iodine supplementation such as ‘you definitely feel it’… I got to thinking , “how do I know this kelp stuff isn’t too dilute?’ . provided there’s progress

walked 8 miles today to make up for just doing 2/3 the last two days. to be fair, days 1 and 2 of my cycle can be pretty horrendous, so i was happy with 2-3 those couple of days. it seems being on the pill flattens out the cycle in many ways, and makes the cramping and such much less angular as well. Took me a while to realize the connection after stopping the pill -the cramps got worse and worse. I never had really bad cramps in the first few years, then shortly after that I was on the pill for the most part of the time since then. As much of a very minor pain that such pain can be, I feel closer to nature and the mystery and all that to be aware and part of natural cycles rather than oblivious -how it feels in changing from flattened out hormones to natural rhythms. where’s the slack?

so what i’m about to say occurred to me a couple of weeks ago -(think i pre-dated the post accurately enough, as I write it is the 26th of January).

As I was going over what Vijay (forum member on my GSJ site) had to say in his latest write up of like “how/why state sponsored psychological warfare/’reform’ works/is-carried-out” I kept flashing back to several times/things that were said, just after you returned from the spring vacation trip with your friends that one year… and how even though I heard relatively very little of what happened, it’s clear now how similar your experiences were to mine that did not occur in my life until I was 27:

that vampire movie

Ch has left grooveshark open on his computer off to the left, further back in my field of vision. From the free version ad block all long the right side of the screen stares the alleged heartthrob vampire guy from those Twilight series. I was waiting for a page to load on my screen, about to turn off his monitor because vampire guy was distracting/staring at me, and I found myself asking the question, “why?” “is there anything unique about this romance, etc, genre film?”.
