motivate the inner ear creeping death and crystal clear
[today's SRT is a lyric from SP>Incision, not so random after all, but first things first]
Managed to get away for the ND trip. Must post more on that once I get more of a breather. The moment I flew back it was rush-rush to the Houston show, then one blessed day of sleep (after about 4 hours per for about 5 too many days), then leisurely-rush to the Dallas show, then rush-rush back to picking up on a hugely beneficial and stressful work project. have this fucked up head/chest-congestion, burning lungs thing that Ni was suffering from in ND. could be worse but weird fuzzy blanket feeling. signing off after extremely long, and mentally taxing work day… want to post about our SP experiences before crashing.
Chad and I shouting across the apartment to each other as I unpack, re-pack for our ‘week of SP’. Bits about the trip and grandma’s birthday celebration, his work. back and forth, zipping around the apartment. I remembered to bring Gnosis I, so got that together and wrote a note in case I didn’t get a chance to say much in person. And Chad got together the flags he’d designed and wanted to bring (and regrets not giving both, but only one (more story involved). awww, sorry beebs ) -and we were out the door.
If not for the multi-synchronous intersection I wouldn’t bring up the couple of stalker critters who showed up, but now I must, though I won’t post the pics I got of them trying really hard to act normal <-then jeering some unintelligible jeer-> then acting really super normal – as I snap one picture after another, because that would be crossing the line from entertainment to something less entertaining than it was just to watch them dance, provocative lures and all. further and further away. you think with their kind making up well over 50% of my readers they could at least get their line mimicking /dropping correct enough to be creepy. Ch had it exactly, these dung heap fingers of the general law have at best a cunning type of intelligence, and even very analytical every once in a while, but creativity or spontaneity: nope. It’s crazily funny how very similar and different each one’s mindscape is set up to believe this or that, for this or that motivation or resistance, or which how much this or that one just tunes out completely. it’s like that rare night you go out and drink too much and say and do stuff you barely remember as having done yourself. that’s how it is for a lot of them, their whole lives.
along one of the multi-synchronous rays, is something that popped out of Gnosis I just recently: the descending octave, in multiples -picture many hierarchical layers- is like one big digestive tract, the descending octave is like a vermiculture tower. The stuff at the top starts out as scraps -shed husks of consciousness experiments- and filters down into manure. just living compost, provoking the ascending in ascending direction / the impetus to understand what’s happening around oneself.
an even bigger note that I happened across again yesterday (like I hadn’t been paying attention the first time -it jumped out at me) [emphases mine]:
Positive philosophy studies man in general; abstract man. Esoteric philosophy concerns man as he is: the investigator is the object of his own studies. Starting from the constatation that man is unknown, his target is to make himself known to himself— as he is, and as he might become under certain conditions.
The final object of positive science is the same in principle, but the efforts are diametrically opposed. Starting from the centre, positive science extends, specializes, and so diverges towards the periphery. At the limit each point forms a separate discipline. Esoteric science begins from the multiplicity and variety observed on the periphery accessible to our senses, and moves towards the centre. It tends towards a more and more general synthesis.
The method of esoteric science is the same as that of positive science: observation, critical analysis of the given observations, and rigorous deduction from the established facts. In spite of this similarity of method, there is a difference of application due to the personal character of most esoteric work. This does not always permit demonstration of the results of specific life experiences, nor allow public debate on their validity. This is why we apply this method here with the same rigorous objectivity, but in the opposite direction: in positive science we admit a postulate if we cannot refute it; here we would refute something if we do not find facts or phenomena to confirm it.
yeah
but back to the thread, yeah the gnosis series has been awesome for shifting around some outer rings so that whole new order comes into view -like. i have no idea how much of it will be old or irrelevant or new, but as far as relevant stuff goes, there’s got to be something viable in it for someone with such progressive introspective PsOV.
it’s a madhouse trying to get to meet a friggin rock star, it turns out. I mean the first time was so spontaneous and now i just wanted to say hey and pass along the book. but there’s this whole groupie run around sub-game within another game of general run-around as ‘they’ try to thin the crowd. it’s so us and them so on some level you just have to feel like an asshole. by the time i pin ball bing my way through the various characters and outermost layers, it’s like ‘here’s your stuff, see ya!’. I imagine for them it’s more like the calm within the storm, but i’m here to say that riding the breakers toward the center is anything but calm, even if you set out that way. But then again it’s interesting how particular wedges pop up just before I get there, and just before the show, and just before we got to say hi and offer our gifts. Shit, flies, manure, a thousand eyes, the General Law, the hive, compost, you get the idea. Furthermore, the energy was a zillion times better at other Texas venue. better (flowier, looser, cooler) people, crowd, acoustics, energy, EVerything.
it’s not us-them. when one acts without consciousness or intends to cause someone else to act without thinking, that is the descending octave, the seaweed dead bodies moved by the ocean in clive barker’s story scape-goats. when one seeks to understand, to take in all the factors yet not be weighed down by analysis, this is the ascending octave’s pattern.
We had an awesome time getting to see SP multiple times. It was a unique chance to absorb various sound and sub-culture variations, and meet a couple other SP nerds. EA in particular was there again for the now third time. was very kind and did a bunch of driving with us while out of town. note to self: get the 2 beds even though you probably won’t need them, as it’s the least you can do for a SP fan-friend too tired to safely drive home. glad you made it EA and let us know. can’t wait to see your pics, or the rest of ours still processing. for now…
